Govt To Offer Jobs In Online Gaming To Indian Students & 'Ye PUBG Wala' Also Has A Future Now

If you're someone who's into gaming and likes to play online games then here's something that you need to know. The Union Education Ministry is working on a plan to support Indian students in the field of online gaming. This is a new effort from the ministry to generate employment opportunities.

The ministry has also confirmed that they'll soon organize a national level hackathon on 'online games' to showcase the talent of Indian students. School children from across the country will be given the experience of Indian toy art. All this training will apparently be in accordance with international standards.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that they're planning to organize a hackathon soon for students of higher education institutions through innovation in toy technology and design. This will also include online games as mentioned earlier and they'll be made to reflect Indian ethos and values.

PM Narendra Modi has noted that the need of the hour is to make India self-reliant. He thinks the toy industry has a huge potential and wants all the students to tap into it.

It's indeed an interesting proposition and we'd like to see more opportunities opening up for people who're into online gaming. Be it playing these games or being a part of the team that's making them, we certainly need more talent here in India. More than that, we need more support for the already existing talent out there.

Let's just hope that there's a proper plan in place for everything and we see some development in this space. It'll be interesting to see the kind of opportunities opening up for talents after this.
